Announcing the launch of my new patreon page! One day i would like to make writing my career, but I haven’t been able to decide on a method i was satisfied with until now. I want to continue producing free content, but I also want to devote my time to writing. There are various rewards on the patreon page, and more will be coming in the future. Go check it out and support me if you feel like it.

I also have a great respect for translators, so i’m quite happy to be confused for one as well.

XD I must say it always makes me so happy when someone ask that. I love Japanese works (Anime, Manga, Light-novels) so hearing that i’m emulating it so well is fantastic. To answer concisely: Yes, I am the author of Maou the Yuusha.

I thought you were translating, are you actually the author of Maou the Yuusha (I’m used to all the stories like this being translations).

As much as I am glad that there is a way to support you (even though I can’t support you cus lol student), I have to say, 100$/month for ‘full time’ is really low in my opinion, and 500$/month for a game? (having done some game dev myself, It can be really expensive) Seems you are jumping the gun a little.

Even an RPG Maker game requires quite a bit of work to make and polish, maps have to be made, events/game states set, enemy placement + balance has to be tested…

I’ll address the game one because i can go into more detail about it. The 500 isn’t actually going to be the funding for the game, that’s simply the amount that i would need per month to be able to start production. I might run a kick-starter to raise money for the game if that goal is reached, but for now the plan is for it to be quite a long project. I’ll go into more detail about that later. With the full time tier, i would rather not go into specifics about it (as it’s rather personal) but with 100 a month being able to write full time would be feasible in my position.
